And, breaking dawn is soon going to be MINE! Okay, mine and the rest of the country, but you know what I mean.
Well, I can do something right.Type: BlogDate: 22 Jun 2008 |
Another aspect in which I have not failed, I applied for an account on a Twilight fanfiction and fanart site using the drawing of Bella and Edward in the car before prom. I'm in the first wave of artists so I should be posting that drawing sometime soon after the 25th of July. Now, to see if I can come up with anything else to add to that. We shall see.

This year I took a Digital Design class and I don't have very much to show for it that I feel like putting up here, so that's part of the reason. The pre2008 stuff is from last years Drawing and Painting class. Next year is Design in Ceramics, so we'll see how that goes.
The newest drawing was something I did because I was bored. It's a colored pencil drawing of Bella and Edward based of pictures of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson who are going to play the characters in the new Twilight movie coming out in December. Bella is kinda, eh in the drawing, but I do love Edward. And the words around their heads are lines from the book when they are in Edward's "special occasion" car.
The Artists... will kill youType: WritingDate: 11 Jun 2008 |
Basically, the reason it's sort of a depressing story is because the vocab words were kinda downers. Like... abyss, precarious, mortification, havoc... like, come on!
So, everyone dies at the end. Ohhhhhhhh?! Now you wanna know how they died, ya? Well, you can read it, and while you're at it, read the other ones, they're better.

So, anyways, isn't this nifty, I've finally, finally figured out cutenews and ftp. Thank God for Firefox! So, now you can leave comments, for the whole .5 of you reading. But seriously, I've been trying to figure these out for sooooo long, and I never knew it would be so easy with Firefox.
Um, I was going to say something meaningful here.... Well, there are over 60 auditions for Team Twilighter and the competition is pretty darn fierce. My chances are looking pretty slim. But there are some pretty good videos, I would advise that everyone subscribe, because whoever is chosen will be A-mazing. Although, I must say for myself, I did make it into the trailer, it's pretty embarrassing. I would prolly say it's the most embarrassing thing I've ever done on camera, including the time I picked that wedgie during a dance recital in, like, Kindergarten. But, maybe if Katie found that amusing I have some what of a chance, fingers crossed, I suppose.
Ps: The dates are all screwy on the previous posts, so don't mind that.

Also, I thought I would add that I am attempting to read Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in Spanish. I'm into chapter 3, it's a real experience :P
And while I'm at it, my summer reads...
1. Breaking Dawn- Stephenie Meyer
2. A Prayer for Owen Meany- John Irving
3. Bourne Identity- Robert Ludlum
4. Dragonfly in Amber- Diana Gabaldan
5. The Last Summer (of You and Me)- Ann Brashares

And speaking of M (for Meyers in this case) I have a bit to say about Twilight. Firstly, I want to mention Twilight Guy, aka Kaleb Nation. Very funny entries, I support him, 100%. More guys should read it, of course. And the other stories he has posted of other guys who have gotten into it are great. And on another Twilight note, I've been toying with the idea with auditioning for Team Twilighter. If I did, and I mean audition not made it into the six, it would be my shining moment of dorkiness, I really mean it. Here's a quote from the page to sum it up: "Team Twilighter is a Vlogging channel where seven fans of the Twilight saga will create their videos for their day, informing the YouTube crowd of anything and everything Twilight, seven days a week!" We shall see about that....

So, this is Alison with a Y, aka Alyson and hopefully this site will be home to all my creative junk and maybe just my general junk. We will see. That's me, over there to the left, all vectorized. And I love the fonts of the title and the links, it gives me, prolly, a weird amount of joy to see all the pretty words.
Ta for now, I have a lot of organizing and putting togethering to do. Wish me luck. And in case you were wondering that is a picture of a girl and a ship and a bottle of champagne. Nice send off, don't you think?
